RTA Claims Process
This process came into effect on 30th April 2010 and applies to all motor accidents with a value of £1,000-£10,000. There is a Pre-Action Protocol and amended CPR for this process, which operates through a web-based portal. The CPR and Pre-Action Protocol are listed below, and all users have to register to gain access to the Portal to run RTA claims. If you haven't already, you can register at https://www.rapidclaimsettlement.org.uk.
MASS played an integral role in negotiations of this process, due to our extensive experience in RTA claims. MASS has a Director sitting on Portal Company's board and therefore has a direct influence on the operation and development of the process.
Whilst the process is generally working well, if you do experience behavioural issues with other users it is important to report this to the Portal Co Behaviour Committee, via the form listed below.

Our Mission Statement.
‘MASS promotes the highest standards of legal standards through education and representation in the pursuit of justice for victims of road traffic accidents.’
As an individual who has been involved in a road traffic accident, we understand how important it is for you to have independent legal advice and a voice to represent you in the wider concept of your legal rights and access to justice.
For nearly 20 years, MASS has been campaigning for exactly these rights, and continues to do so in all aspects surrounding road traffic accidents and victim support.
