MASS responds to the publication of the Conservative Party election ManifestoMASS responds to the publication of the Conservative Party election ManifestoMASS responds to the publication of the Conservative Party election manifesto in which the Party says it will consider a ban on cold calling and will pursue its whiplash agenda:

Simon Stanfield, Chair, MASS:

“Though anticipated, it is still disappointing to see the Government reaffirm its commitment to pursue a whiplash programme that will unfairly penalise the genuinely injured accident victim and create a range of unwanted consequences. Having long argued for a ban on cold calling, we’re pleased that the Government is going to look in detail at this issue and hope that this will be part of a wider consideration of strengthening CMC regulation.”
