Types of Claim

Road traffic accidents can happen from many different circumstances. Some types of claims will mean a slightly different procedure will take place, which is why it is important to obtain advice from a specialist. Pedestrian Claims

As a pedestrian although you may not have caused the accident you may or may not be held to be partly to blame if your actions contributed to your injury e.g. stepping out between parked cars.

It is important to get legal advice at an early stage.

In practice the claim will usually be settled by the driver's insurance company or if a company car, the company or their insurers.

In some cases pedestrian claims will be bought against multiple drivers.
