How to join MASS – Associate Membership
Do you qualify for Associate Membership?
Associate Membership is only open to individuals who provide professional
services to the Personal Injury legal industry.
This opportunity is aimed at independent barristers, mediators and costs draftsmen. We may open up the opportunity to other industry individuals who are able to demonstrate relevant expertise in the future.*
It is not open to an organisation to join as an Associate Member.
Applicants need to be able to demonstrate that:

- as an individual in their area of expertise, they deal with a minimum of 10 motor personal injury claim instructions per year and have an appropriate degree of expertise in handling/overseeing/processing such claims.
Applicants must agree to adhere to the Code of Conduct for Associate Members and MASS Articles of Association, in particular, the Society’s stated objectives.
*This is in addition to the discretion provided to the Management Committee by paragraphs 18.4 and 19.6 of our Articles of Association.
